Answ. Thou shalt have no other godsbefore me.

Answ. Thou shalt not make unto theeany graven Image, or any likeness of anything that is in Heaven above, or that isin the Earth beneath, or that is in theWater under the Earth: thou shalt notbow down thy self to them, nor serve them;for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God,visiting the Iniquity of the Fathers uponthe Children, unto the third and fourthgeneration of them that hate me, and showingmercy unto thousands, of them thatlove me and keep my Commandements.
Quest. Which is the Third?
Answ. Thou shalt not take the Nameof the Lord thy God in vain; for theLord will not hold him guiltless that takethhis Name in vain.
Quest. Which is the Fourth?
Answ. Remember the Sabbath-day tokeep it holy, six days shalt thou labourand do all thy work, but the seventh dayis the Sabbath of the Lord thy God, in itthou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thyson, nor thy daughter, thy man-servant,nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattel, northy stranger that is within thy gates; forin six dayes the Lord made Heaven andEarth, the Sea, and all that in them is,and rested the seventh day; wherefore theLord blessed the Sabbath-day, and hallowedit.

Answ. Honour thy father and thyMother, that thy days may be long uponthe land which the Lord thy God giveththee.
